Let me start by saying that we weren’t planning on hiring a DJ at all for our wedding. BUT, we both realized that we would probably have a better time if we had one, so I started my search. I am so, so thankful that Nathan’s page came up in the search. He is one of the most professional yet personable people that exist. He responded to me that day, then we had a phone conversation where he explained his entire process and I knew this was our guy. Even with all of the craziness and changes we had to make, Nathan never made us feel stressed or like we were inconveniencing him in any way. He is incredibly organized and ready for just about anything. I can’t think of anything we asked for that he couldn’t do, and without hesitation! He can read a room and makes sure that everyone has the best time. Seriously, if you need a DJ for anything, Nathan is your guy!”

My wife and I (age 25 and 28) just got married three days ago and Nathan Wilkins was the DJ for our reception. Looking back, it’s now obvious why everyone reviewed him as a 5 out of 5 on the weddingwire. From day one, he was professional, courteous, knowledgeable, incredibly responsive to calls/emails, and truly the right gentlemen for the job. During our six hour reception, he truly proved that he is “absolutely the hardest working DJ in the business” by providing our guests with great tunes and the direction that they needed for executing events as planned (the shoe game, cake cutting ceremony, Chinese lanterns being set off, sparklers, garter/bouquet toss, formal dances, etc). This is especially true considering that the guests at our reception enjoy drinking and often imbibe a little too much at times. DJ Nate knows how

to take command of the group and make the events that you’ve dreamed of come true. For those who are one the fence of whether or not to do the “cut the cake” song, go for it, it was truly a hoot. Nathan is truly a gem and we honestly could not have asked for a better DJ on our special day. Thanks again DJ Nate, you’re the best out there!

Nathan is by far the best DJ I have ever had the privilege of meeting. Wedding planning is very busy and Nathan made the music aspect so simple. He does the best job at talking to the bride and groom, determining what they want, and then making their dreams become a reality. My husband and I had nothing to worry about; Nathan did everything for us and treated us like king and queen! He is the MOST interactive DJ we have ever met. He got involved with our guests and made them lighten up and have a blast. So many of our guests came up to us afterward stating that we had picked the perfect DJ and that they would not change a thing about it! My guests said it was the most fun they have ever had at a wedding and that is truly all thanks to Nathan. I would highly recommend Nathan for ANY event. Nathan is the man! Thanks Nathan, for making our wedding so memorable!

I would like to take the time to say “Thank you” DJ Nate, (as i like to call you) for everything. As always you have provided excellent service. Our JMA Middle School Dances would not be the same without you there. You can tell as a DJ you enjoy what you do and it shows. I enjoyed you showing me how to DJ and taught me alot before the dance. I had soooo much fun. Our Officer on duty enjoyed you showing him how everything worked and all the music you had as we were setting up for our dance. Our Principal said she loved you and now have a DJ that she can start using for her parties. As a Middle School when having a DJ you want to look for someone who has patience, who is warm, very friendly, has a great attitude and so much fun to be around and can accommodate what music a younger generation can listen to and you provide that for us, oh and not to mention, I LOVE YOUR PRICES, very affordable. Our children love the light shows, bubbles, fog and the music you play and all the songs you have and the fact that you work so well with them, they love that let them use the microphone to sing along with the music and allow them to request songs as well. You are definitely the best DJ in North Carolina, second to none! I am glad i had the pleasure to work with you for the last 2 years and looking forward to working again with you soon. On behalf of our Principal, Staff, Scholars and PTSA thank you for taking the time to host every event that we had thus far at JMA Alexander Middle School and we look forward to seeing you real soon. Our Scholars are already asking for another dance. Thanks again!!!

DJ Nate was a wonderful DJ. He was extremely responsive and accommodating. Prior to the wedding, he met with me at my venue to view his workspace and get a lay of the land. It helped me tremendously, because we were able to decide on the best reception layout and work through some of the kinks of which we otherwise may not have thought. When it was time to discuss the actual reception timeline and song selections, he offered suggestions, but told me that ultimately it was our day and he would be happy to do whatever we preferred. He graciously allowed us to use his lapel mic for our outdoor ceremony (even though we had a different ceremony musician), and he even called the ceremony musician beforehand to make sure his sound system was compatible with the lapel mic. On the day of, he arrived 3 hours prior to the ceremony, just as he said he would, even though he would not need to start playing music until the cocktail hour.

He did an excellent job of introducing everyone, of helping tables get to the buffet most efficiently, of working with the wedding director, and of moving through our reception timeline seamlessly. He played all of our song requests, and was extremely flexible in waiting until we were finished eating and ready to start the toasts. When I walked over to tell him we were ready, he was eating, but put down his food and started up the toasts.

At his suggestion, we played the “Shoe Game” (similar to the Newlywed Game). It was a major hit and we had so much fun playing it. People are still talking about how great it was, and he was very funny.

All in all it was a great experience. DJ Nate is an extremely professional DJ. He was an amazing addition to our wonderful array of vendors, and I highly recommend him to anyone!!!

OMG! Words are not enough to describe DJ NATE!!! My wedding turned out absolutely PERFECT! It would have gone that way without this man! I couldn’t have prayed for anyone better than this man! No matter how many times I wanted to change my mind with all the songs that I wanted him to play, he stayed very patient with me and also made me feel like I was at the top of his list! He never once put me second and every time I called about me changing my mind about something, he would pick up! DJ Nate is the man you WANT! He won’t let you down and you can alway count on him! I had so many people ask me where they could look him up for their next big event because they wanted to be first in line for his service! We had a blast and we are already trying to think of the next big event so you can come and party down with us once again. Thanks DJ Nate for making my dream……A reality!

Excellent DJ for our wedding. DJ Nate did a fantastic job right from the first communication. He was always in contact with us to make sure that every detail was covered. He made us feel very comfortable that everything would go as planned without any stress. He was able to DJ for both our ceremony and reception and was willing to drive between the two locations. Nate made our wedding day very very fun. He showed up early enough to have some music playing while the families setup the reception hall and he kept the music going all night until 2AM! He did an absolutely wonderful job! He was even able to get the fathers of the bride and groom out on the dance floor! Very talented DJ. Was able to come up with very creative solutions to ensure that the sound at the outdoor ceremony was perfect even though it was windy! DJ Nate made our wedding more fun than we could have ever expected! Highly recommended!!!
